Booked a table for six. Myself ordered the three tapas with chips for 20. UNREAL. Chicken tikka was amazing full of flavour not to mention the mint sauce and mango chutney aswell. Meatballs and salt and pepper chicken where also amazing. Great prices nice atmosphere. Happily added this restaurant to my go to places
Fabulous meal tonight steak and ale pie with mash and veg for me the wife had salmon with honey and mustard on a bed of green beans and rice couldn’t fault it. Great service with such pleasant staff Really worth a visit And the bonus was its Buskers night with amazing talent x
Lovely food. Homemade chips are really nice. I had the battered black pudding starter and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely hand battered and not just plucked out of the freezer. Will definitely have this again. I wasn't very adventurous having scampi for the main, but wanted something lighter. Previously had the homemade lasagne here and it's amazing. The homemade fish & chips is a winner too. Have to mention the staff also. All very pleasant, nice people. All in all, a great place to eat and drink.
Couldn’t fault this place , lovely dinner , great price! Fast service and big portions. The meat was all cooked perfectly and the staff were great and welcoming. We were a party of 7.
We have been a few times as a family for a Sunday carvery now and we are really impressed. The quality of the food is great for a carvery and prices are fair. The setting is relaxed and clean. One thing that was a little disappointing today was the plates were not cleared for over 40 mins (we had the 2 courses) and I found the bar staff a little rude. It won't stop me from coming back, after all it was a busy day and hoping it was just that that affected the mood for staff. The guys at the carvery are very friendly and helpful.
Some of the best home made food in the region with Sunday carvery that is perfect. Great team of staff too. Always a great visit!
